Fruits and Creativity

Vibes and fruits

I’m more creative when I eat fruits. When I find myself spiralling into this cycle of eating junk, my creativity drops right down to zero. No word of a lie.

There’s real science behind eating healthy food and efficient brain function.

I read this article the other day:

Scientists are now exploring how eating fruits and vegetables can contribute to eudaimonia, a sense of fulfillment and purpose in life that goes beyond simply feeling happy or unhappy.

Eudaimonic well-being thrives in a vibrant atmosphere of curiosity and creativity. Curiosity fuels the pursuit of new knowledge and skills, immersing individuals in experiences that foster self-determination, purpose, and meaning in life. Creativity, often born from eudaimonic conditions, manifests as artistic expression and novel ideas, enriching the human experience.

Here’s a quote from the article:

“Researchers discovered that people who recorded higher fruits and vegetable intake reported higher average well-being, curiosity, and creativity compared to those who ate fewer fruits and vegetables. However, fruit and veggie consumption did not lead to next-day well-being, demonstrating the importance of eating a healthy, balanced diet on a day-to-day basis.”

Eating fruits grounds me and centers me.

For me, creative wellness is holistic; you must take care of your physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental health.

I love the hustle, I love challenging myself, but I also love doing things that elevate my health, and one of those things is to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables daily.

Here’s a fire, and I mean fire smoothie, recipe that I always love to drink to boost my creative thought process whenever I’m feeling down in the dumps:

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 banana, frozen or fresh
  • 1/2 cup coconut yogurt
